Expedition Africa - The Game App Reviews

I love the game but would like to see more scenery of Africa in between plays or maybe music! Some updates would be nice, but overall a nice app for 40ish people to relax with...History channel rocks!

I play this geography strategy game a lot. You have to balance five or six things at once and roll well. It takes about ten quick games to get clever with it, and some dice luck to master it A few bugs which have been around forever but no updates ;~{. There is not a full explanation for the scoring system so I just play for shortest trip (76), which is still a big challenge. No high scores or leaderboard, but the sounds are cool. Could use more challenges between turns. The graphics are terrific. 4+ stars.

Wouldnt show the app on my home screen so I couldnt play it.

It would be more interesting if you added more routes and challenges.

*Important note: the update to iOS 8.4 has left this game unplayable for me. I truly hope that the developer releases a patch, as now when the game loads I get the main selection screen’s mirror image, and none of the buttons are selectable, which means I can’t start a new game.* The game itself is fun, if a bit basic. It’s kind of like a dice-based Oregon Trail-y game, set in Africa and offering the player minimal choices to differentiate their journey and spice things up. There are hazards one must try to avoid, resources and weapons to be collected to ward off danger, and just a touch of skill necessary in order to make it to the final destination. Mostly though, the game hinges upon luck. I like it, but would love to see it get fixed up–and in a dream world–expanded a little bit.

I downloaded this app thinking that I would be able to play a good game but it wont let me play it at all. It says I have to restart my phone but I restarted it twice and it still wont let me on. What is with this?

I restarted my phone after downloading but the game crashed before I could even start playing
